Many Coalition member agencies work with and serve, members of the Indigenous community. We work in cooperation with communities in areas of concern where coordinated efforts are required to meet the needs of indigenous children, youth and families across Simcoe County.
In Simcoe County, the Barrie Area Native Advisory Council (BANAC) serves as a regional social health and planning organization to support Indigenous community development in the areas of child care, health planning, social development, and support to seniors and families.
